Asus announces new VG278HV 27-inch 144Hz gaming monitor
 

Asus has announced its newest 27-inch gaming monitor, which will be based on a Full HD TN-panel with 144Hz refresh rate, the Asus VG278HV.

As noted, the new Asus VG278HV gaming monitor is based on a 27-inch TN-panel panel with 1920x1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Since it is based on a TN-panel, the 1ms response rate does not come as a surprise and it also comes a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170/160 degree viewing angles.
