 |  ASUS 8600GTS Video Card Review really can't find anything negative to say about the card. Under DirectX 9 everything works amazing. DirectX 10 has some glitches, but that is new technology. It will take some patches and driver updates to get it 100% right. Overall I have no regrets about updating to Vista in order to fully take advantage of this sweet card. Now keep in mind that this is not top of the line, but a mid-ranged video card. If you expect it to perform on the same levels as your friend's $700 video card then you will be disappointed.
