The Alpine 64 presents some stiff competition, especially when it's
price is taken into consideration. For a price of approximately $15 USD, the
Alpine 64 is an excellent choice for those who want to replace their noisy
stock cooler with a more efficient and quieter cooling solution.

In terms of noise, the Alpine 64 and Susurro were almost neck to neck, but the Susurro produced a frequent clicking noise.

Susurro prices have dropped to $22-24 range in the US, the Alpine 64 not yet available widely

still way too much for a cooler that has a bearing noise

that's one person's experience with the fan, I did not find the Susurro fan to be loud or clicking at low speeds.
