It would be cool for creating 3D images tough, this many camera's should give an accurate depth field with not to wide optics

| When you stich several photo's into a single one, the resolution of the stitched image isn't just the sum of the pixelcount of a single image as the images have to overlap (and the pixels in this overlap are dropped or combined). These camera's are so close to each other that the difference between every image won't be much more than a few 100 pixels (in other words, every picture only adds a few 100 pixels to the stitched image). Of course, when these camera's would have a long focal distance, this effect is minimised, but you'll end up with gaps between images when you try to shoot from a closer distance (and I'm talking in meters right now ) |

| well, you can have the camera's point outwards in a spiral, so you get a really nice circular panoramic view. anyway; why are we discussing a 300 camera ipad?

I have no clue why we are discussing this, maybe it's the only interesting thing about the iPad
