The discreet, wall-plug unit extends the signal of any standard 802.11a/b/g/n or ac Wi-Fi router by repeating, amplifying, and redistributing the signal in a new extended location, such as a far bedroom, backyard, or upstairs office.

The Amped Wireless difference starts with High Power technology. Standard Wi-Fi devices have an output power of a mere 50 milliwatts (mW). While the REC15A packs up to 500 milliwatts (mW) of Wi-Fi output power into a compact, elegant design - to eliminate dead spots and attain more range. With four total amplifiers and a high gain, dual band antenna, the REC15A provides up to 5,000 sq. ft. of extended coverage. In addition, the REC15A features ultra-fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology and simultaneously repeats both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi signals.
