| AMD socket M2 spotted A new CPU socket for AMD? Looks to have 940 pins, but not compatible with the current Socket 940 CPU's. the other new socket seems to be smaller and has only 638 pins, could be the new "Socket S1", which uses a screw for securing the CPU, most likely a socket for mobile CPU's. Date for launch of the new 940 pin socket would be Q1 2006 http://www.pcpop.com/doc/0/86/86886.shtml
