![]() | ![]() Introduced a couple of months ago, the Phenom II X6 1055T hexa-core processor, has recently started to become available in a 95W TDP version which should be a little less hot and heavy than the 'original' 125W chip. Codenamed HDT55TWFK6DGR, the 'new' AM3 CPU is manufactured on 45nm technology, has six cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, 6MB of L3 cache and an integrated dual-channel DDR3 memory controller. The 95W Phenom II X6 1055T has been found in Japan priced at $244 but it should hit US stores @ about $200. http://www.tcmagazine.com/tcm/news/h...tdp-sale-japan
