AMD ends 2005 at $30 price

CHIP FIRM AMD ended its 2005 trading time with the share price topping $30. That will no doubt have cheesed off Thomas McCoy and Henri Richard who sold some of their options off before Christmas for less. Meanwhile Spansion (tick: SPSN) has rumbled around the $14 mark since it was floated.
Intel (tick: INTC) looks set to end the year at around the $25 mark but trading was heavy on the NASDAQ market today.

Transmeta shares are at $1.10 a change of absolutely nothing since the market opened this morning. On the 16th of August the shares reached $2.50 but the year's low was 58 cents.

Nvidia (tick: NVDA) is hovering around the $37 mark as the year's trading ends - not far off its year high.

Eager beaver ATI (tick: ATYT) is close to $17. It reached the heady heights of $19.82 in the last 52 weeks but has showed a climbing tendency in the last 10 days.

Lastly, but of course not leastly, Rambus (tick: RMBS) is ticking along at around the $16 mark. The old days when Rambus made your heart beat faster are gone now it's not part of Intel's vision any more.

A happy new year to all my detractors and fans for reading the stuff during 2005. Looking forward to new fibrillations of stock during 2006, as always!

Well, I made some money from both AMD and Intel this year. I am holding on AMD still. Perhaps, I will get rid of it before it levels down soon after the new year.

Intel has been buying back it's own stock through out 2005. This may mean I should be looking at Intel soon enough, again.

If not TMTA, I would have been retired as a rich man a few years back I did not have the wisdom in getting some ATYT earlier; NVDA is expensive for now.

Surely, let's hope 2006 will bring more bucks for us all.
