AMD details Radeon RX 480 driver fixes
 

AMD has an update for everyone who has a Radeon RX 480 and is afraid that the card might fry the PCIe slot on the motherboard. The new driver, that solves the problem and increases performance by up to 3 percent should be out today, July 7th.

The problem is described as the Radeon RX 480 drawing excess current from the PCIe bus, and we've already written about it a few times this week.
