AMD could launch Ryzen 5 5600 in early 2021 Priced at $220 According to the latest rumor, AMD could launch the non-X Ryzen 5 5600 CPU in early 2021, with a rather affordable $220 price tag. With the first batch of Ryzen 5000 series desktop CPUs scheduled to hit retail/e-tail shelves on November 5th, the first rumors about the rest of the lineup have started to appear online, including the more affordable Ryzen 5 5600 (non-X) which should be coming in early 2021. In case you missed it, AMD has announced a total of four SKUs in the new Ryzen 5000 series lineup, mostly covering the high- and mid-range market segments with the new Ryzen 9 5950X flagship, Ryzen 9 5900X, Ryzen 7 5800X, and the Ryzen 5 5600X. There are several gaps in the lineup, including an SKU that will fit between the Ryzen 5 5600X and the Ryzen 7 5800X, as well as SKUs that will be below the Ryzen 5 5600X. According to a post from Twitter user @harukaze5719, caught by Videocardz.com, the first non-X Ryzen 5000 series SKU, the Ryzen 5 5600, could launch in early 2021, and be priced at $220. https://fudzilla.com/news/pc-hardwar...-in-early-2021 |
