Making it compatible with many AiO coolers

According to a new report, AMD could be bundling its upcoming Threadripper CPUs with Asetek retention kit, which should make plenty of AiO coolers compatible with the new TR4 socket on the upcoming X399 chipset motherboards.

According to a fresh report coming from Gamers Nexus site, AMD will allegedly bundle its Threadripper CPUs with Asetek retention kit, rather than a completely new AiO cooler. This move from AMD could both keep the price down and also provide compatibility for a wide line of AiO coolers based on Asetek's design, including CLCs (closed-loop-liquid coolers) from NZXT, EVGA and Corsair.
