AMD brings its own new Radeon Software graphics driver
 

Game optimizations, new Vulkan API extensions and more

AMD has released its newest Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.3.1 graphics driver which brings support for some new and upcoming games like DOOM Eternal, adds new Vulkan API extensions, as well as fixing several bugs seen with earlier driver releases.

According to the release notes, the new Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.3.1 driver adds support for DOOM Eternal and Half-Life: Alyx, as well as adds support for Ghost Recon Breakpoint running on Vulkan API.

According to AMD, the new driver should provide up to five percent higher performance on Radeon RX 5700XT in Doom Eternal on Ultra Nightmare settings and 1080p resolution, when compared to the previous driver release.
