According to Digitimes.com report, citing sources from the motherboard industry, AMD and Intel will go head to head in the HEDT (high-end desktop) market in October. Based on Zen 2 architecture, AMD could theoretically launch a 64-core/128-thread Threadripper CPU with 8-channel memory support.
