AK-971 INTEL COOLER - Akasa

The AK-971 is a Mainstream Type 1 BTX thermal module. An all aluminium low impedance heatsink with maximum air through-put is utilised to give cost effective performance. The 92 x 92 x 38mm PWM fan gives balanced noise to cooling efficiency. Spring loaded retention screws are used for safe retention pressure. TC-5021 hi-performance thermal interface is pre-applied.

A 92mm fan @3,600 rpm can't be quiet I am afraid.

I'd like to see/hear from the enthusiasts point of view after using the BTX form factor, the HDD and memory temps, which I doubt will be better than ATX form factor. Surely, Dell and HP customers won't care much; it is the inability of Intel to produce low thermal output processors in recent years pushing for the "easy exit" solution in cooling the processor.

Cure the root of the problem like AMD does .... low thermal loss processor.
