Good eyes:) Thanks. |
naah, I made a "huntinglist" a few days ago. that's how I knew the 3700 only exists in San Diëgo form, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed :) |
huntinglist Venice AMD Athlon 64 3000+ S939 90nm Venice @1.8 Ghz 512k 9*200 Tray: ADA3000DAA4BP Boxed: ADA3000BPBOX AMD Athlon 64 3200+ S939 90nm Venice @2.0 Ghz 512k 10*200 Tray: ADA3200DAA4BP Boxed: ADA3200BPBOX AMD Athlon 64 3500+ S939 90nm Venice @2.2 Ghz 512k 11*200 Tray: ADA3500DAA4BP Boxed: ADA3500BPBOX AMD Athlon 64 3800+ S939 90nm Venice @2.4 Ghz 512k 12*200 Tray: ADA3800DAA4BP Boxed: ADA3800BPBOX San Diëgo AMD Athlon 64 3500+ S939 90nm San Diego @2.0 Ghz 1M?/512k 10*200 (1M) / 11*200 (512k) Tray: ADA3500DAA5BN? / ADA3500DAA4BN Boxed: ADA3500BNBOX? / ADA3500BNBOX AMD Athlon 64 3700+ S939 90nm San Diego @2.2 Ghz 1M 11*200 Tray: ADA3700DAA5BN Boxed: ADA3700BNBOX AMD Athlon 64 4000+ S939 90nm San Diego @2.4 Ghz 1M 12*200 Tray: ADA4000DAA5BN Boxed: ADA4000BNBOX AMD Athlon 64 4200+ S939 90nm San Diego @2.6 Ghz 1M 13*200 Tray: ADA4200DAA5BN Boxed: ADA4200BNBOX AMD Athlon 64 FX57 S939 90nm San Diego @2.8 Ghz 1M 14*200? ???? ???? Remarks: There'll be San Diëgo and Venice cores running on 1.4V and there'll be San Diëgo and Venice cores running on 1.35V. You can not distinguish them physically, you will only know when you boot the system with default cpu settings. Although we can make a pretty well estimated guess about the FX-57's specs, it's still speculation untill further notice. There's a few rumours going around about the 3500+ San Diëgo. According to these rumours, there would also be 1MB L2 cache versions. Personally I think that in time AMD may release those but for now, I've only seen 3500+ San Diëgo cores with only 512kB L2 cache up for sale. If you want to be sure about what you are buying, there are only 2 things you need to pay attention to (since to my knowledge only OEM manufacturers can buy tray versions, you'll just have to peep through the plastic window in the box): BP = Venice BN = San Diëgo 4 = 512kB L2 cache 5 = 1MB L2 cache example: ADA3700DAA5BN = 3700+ with 1MB L2 cache San Diëgo core PS: For a full explanation of OPN ( Order Product Number) codes, look here. |
