This would be added to my test suite, hopefully increasing the number of benchmarks for DX11. There is a very little number of benchmarks/games that take advantage of DX11 and even less that have integrated benchmark modules.

that's because console games are based on feature set of DX9... and since most money from games is made on consoles, it's not a very money-wise decision to make a game that requires DX10/11.

Interesting, because I know that Xbox 360 can be modded very easy and there are lots and lots of people that buy it and mod the console instantly. All the games can be downloaded off torrents(it is a little dangerous if you wanna play online, but for single player, nobody can detect that you have modded it).

that's a very small fraction of the console customers...

releasing games on consoles is several order of magnitude more lucrative than releasing on PC only

And where does DX10/11 come into the story ? Can't imagine someone adding DX11 support to this console :-p

Anyway, no serious developper would spend his time craeting something that requires hacking and modding of the original hardware.

Well, I was trying to say that Xbox 360 games are almost as much pirated as PC games in poor countries. Guess game devs. get most of their money from PS3 consoles.
