windows doesn't care that linux excists I need a program that lets you read, write and copy files on the linux partition of my harddrive but runs in windows. So I don't need to reboot that much to shuflle files around. Windows explorer isn't enable to do this No rush, tanx  |
Partition a : linux Partition b : windows Partition c : data |
windows can't find/read linux-partition it isn't that simple |
Can you explain why you need to copy files from windows to linux ? I mean, having a 3th partition makes your files accesible in whatever OS you boot into, reducing shuffling around. 5" google |

4 - 5 years i tried different linux distro's. Neither of them had problems mounting a fat - partition. I used it mainly to try out linux-office-suits. With the linux suits i could open and alter MS office documents on the data partition. |
a google search turned up "explore2fs", it does the trick and again there was no rush |
http://www.partition-manager.com/n_ext2fs_main.htm is a great program, however don't know if it works for EXT3 or REISERFS partitions |
doesnt windows like being at the beginning of the drive too? so as bowser said having linux before widnwos wouldnt work? |
i prefere explore2fs because it's freeware and it can read EXT3, only writing is still experimental but they are working on it. paragon= 29.99$ plus shipping |
