what drives for RAID setup?

I'm planning to buy some new hard drives, and put them in software RAID5 under linux. the mainboard is an a7n8x-deluxe, so it has 2 ATA channels and 2 SATA channels.

for 300-400€, what would be the best choice of drives (how many, how big)?

WD200GB RAID edition, ~€100/drive
