Up Grade MOBO

I have a asus a7n8xdeluxe mb 2x512 pc 3200 xms memory and barton 3200 unlock cpu 450 ps. what would be a good mbcpu combo in amd ?have a bgf 6600 Oc agp card. what would be worth the up grade in money and game performce and cost? Amd fx 55 or 53 unlock?

FX-55 costs to much, just go for 3500+ venice or san diego.
MSI K8N neo2 if you want to keep that AGP card.

Or you could get a better graphics card. Upgrade from xp3200 (stock?) to 3500+ venice will never get you the amount of frames gained compared to a better videocard.

The venice + new mobo = better graphics card in price.

depends on your needs, if you are a gamer, then yes a videocard will be better, but if you use CPU intensive tasks you'll be better of with a higher clock CPU (duh!)
