Do you want to knwo if you have sata on your mobo?
Do you want to find your sata ports on your mobo?
How to connect sata drives?

i have sata ports on my mobo but i look at computer store there is sata 3.0 what is this?

the first sata was 1.5Gb/s, the latest SATA is 3Gb/s or Sata II.

Most of the Sata II hdd's are backwards compatible
