questions on xp120 and socket 939 I've got myself settin' up a little spare rig with an athy64 3000+ 90nm cooled by a xp120 and adata vitesta ddr600 ram. however, I just noticed that the msi939 boards aren't compatible with the xp120 the asus a8vdeluxe, the gigabyte K8NSNXP, and the abit av8 however are (you cannot use dimm1 on the abit, but that shouldn't be mcuh of a problem, I'd just plug slots 3 and 4) which one should I take? I do not want to wait for pci-X boards coz I have a great OC-ing 9800 pro agp which I want to use with this setup which is meant to game on mostly rts games, which are much less graphically demanding. and are all current asus a8v deluxes agp-pcilocked? If they are, this would be my first choice, coz I directly have the w-lan in there too. |
a spare rig, you're kidding ? Where do you get the money from ??? Ow, and if you can't choose a mobo, go for the XP-90. |

anyway Doc; either you take XP-90, or consider Epox's S939 board |
what's the difference with the xp90? are those other boards really that crappy? |
other boards don't scale high in HTT afaik, XP-90 is smaller then XP-120, performs just a teensie bit less with +/- equal CFM fans |
but no direct availability in Blegium? should I get the msi neo2 anyway and an xp-90 then? |

bytes @ work has the xp90 and remain with my choice of the msi neo2 platinum, because that one should be about the best 939 currently, I think, |
