problem with gf4ti4200

Today I got a free gf4ti with some problems. After a few minuts playing I get artifacts. The memory gets to hot, even with a fan on it. I downclocked the mem from 515 to 450Mhz and still the memory gets to hot.

Does someone know what can cause this problem. I think the memory gets to much voltage or something like that.

BTW: the all card was covered with a big layer artic silver :D. (the area around the core)

But I don't think that card had that problem from the beginning, else the guy who bought it would have RMA'ed it.

But they get so hot that I think heatsinks wont work.

BTW, Card is a gainward
