Correction- Sunbeam informed me that the PSU above is from CaseGear, with whom Sunbeam will be carrying the brand for U.S. Sales & Distribution. |
Nowadays more and more Power Supply Units use bigger, and thus more silent fans. 120 and even 140 mm are become less and less a rarity. But here I see 2*60 mm, if I'm not mistaken.... |
2*40 instead ;) |
incompetent engineers, plain and simple only a retard designs a PSU nowadays with less than 2 80mm fans or one 120mm |
Rutar, no offence, ok actually a bit. But the only thing you can do is give critic and comments in a very harsh way. You really there that a company wil ivest millions in a "retarded" product ? |
Just as I thought my patience was running thin on him. I am not the only one. |
I have 2x40mm fans here from KoolSolutions ChillVent, and when both are running at max speed they are more silent then a silent 80mm fan. it's not like those fan need to cool a CPU. they just need to cause SOME airflow, that's it. |
hundrets of bad products with very bad value are released every year, this won't get better if we just play nice with the manufactures, it should be the mission of reviewers only to praise top notch products (value and performance wise) PSUs with high specifications usually run hot and they also are an integral part of the ATX cooling concept, cooling on the PSU matters |
Antec has 500W passively cooled PSU; by adding to super silent 40mm fans you will drop temperatures quite well without adding noise |
