P4 mainboard

a friend of me needs a good mainboard for his P4 3.0Ghz CPU, with FSB800. he's got about 200$ for it. the mainboard won't serve for overclocking, but it has to be very reliable

what mainboard do you recommend?

Either Asus or Abit.
IC7-Max or P4C800

Take Abit IC7-Max 3.

It's a superboard !!!

Chalk one up for the P4c800 (-e) by Asus.

Used it for 6 months. Punished alot, never complained.

And, it's one of the very few boards, that are "OC-certified" by Corsair. As they use it themself for testing purposes.
