I know nothing about the opteron but if there is a heatspreader like that on top of it, how are you going to unlock it.
I mean if it's locked offcourse

maybe by connecting pins ?

thank god they put a heatspreader on it. just crusehed a littje corner of my 1800+

good news for the gamers among us. It seems that the A64 is much more powerfull for gaming than the XP/P4.

well, a64 @ 2 ghz will definately be going back to AMD!

however... one more delay and they're on prescott eta...
prescott will maim, slaughter, slash, burn and rape A64@ 2 ghz, they need more mhz
