no 512MB GTX for me
 

looks like Nvidia pulled a paperlaunch

Just got mailed that they cannot deliver the one I ordered.


Too bad, now I'm getting the HIS 512MB x1800XT which is hopefully not much slower. Only 60 € cheaper, I wish the difference was bigger :(

it wasn't a paperlaunch, the cards where there, only we where to slow.
I cancelled my order, due date was 17/01/06.

the 512Mb card was there only in small quantity, only few 1000 were made:)

i would have bought one too, but the price and availability holded me back

so now i wait till februari for the next-gen

Can't hold back when I have to play classic doom 1.0 in the too classic resolution of 800x600 :/

well, you can get radeon x1800xt's for a fair price, and one 7800gtx 256 is pretty fast too, leaving you to upgrade to a 2nd in 2 months when prices plummet.
for less money then one 512 would cost now...
