Inside the room it was 31°C
1,70 V - 2,70 V ... temp: never above 45°C stressed (on seperate temp, onboard reader reports less)
When i have the time i'll try the uberbios as i only have 3 fsb settings atm: 133-166-200
Lotsa noise ofcourse :D

jmke 13th August 2003 16:39

room temps were very high, 2.4ghz is impressive in those conditions =)

TerAngreal 13th August 2003 17:08

true !

piotke 13th August 2003 17:58

let's try that also :)

slk800+ papst @ 3000 rpm.... roomtemp 34° C

Was dat enkel booten of 100% prime stabiel ? ik veronderstel enkel booten ?

piotke 13th August 2003 21:01

FYI 2360 Mhz on 1.72 Vcore, only booting....

54° idle :)

Bosw8er 14th August 2003 09:55

hehe

do not forget this is a very cheap setup
xp1700 + asus a7n8x-x + 2 x 256 twinmos 3700 = 290 EUR

barton xp 3200 (2200 mhz) = 355 eur (not boxed)

rig = rockstable at 2200 mhz (has been folding gromacs 24/7 since monday) ... in this heat ... 50°C stressed (on seperate reader - on board = 44°C :wtf: ) ... fans at 7V

piotke 14th August 2003 10:13

not bad...

room temp is now 8 degrees lower... CPU boots 20 Mhz higher.

1.712 Vcore - 12*198 = 2378

I must agree. I think a few people are being too harsh. I would feel good about an overclock likt this and so should you especially on air. Pople ren't getting much hiher then 2.5GHz on air anyway, so I'cant see how anyone could criticize you like that. I thinks it overly harsh.

You just accomplished a 900MHz overclock. Anyone who criticizes that is just silly. Good job!!! Especially with the Asus board, whilr their excellent boards (best 875/865's out)their nForce-2's weren't as good as Epox, Abit, and Soltek. All the more reason to compliment yourself. :o

True I got a hypercooled asus A7N2 Deluxe that won't go over 170FSB without stability problems.
My epox with much less cooling runs fine at 200 (but 205 is too much)
