neat on-line temp toy

sjeek it out, it can read your cpu speed & temps and display an image of it online.

If you have ftp hosting, and don't mind upping a few kb's every xx seconds, people can see your CPU speed, temperatures, voltages, etc online! neato!

Here's mine, it should update every ten seconds:

color scheme is too dark :)

RichBa5tard 11th February 2003 12:39

i'm still playing with it :)

jmke 11th February 2003 12:49

can even be used for something usefull :)
like testing load/idle temps & putting them in a neat little graph

no wait.. MBM does that already quite nicely :)

RichBa5tard 11th February 2003 14:02

Hey, I'm at home at the moment and i can see the temp of my pc @leuven... If i suddenly see it raise 5°C every 5 minutes i know my pump failed. :D

jmke 11th February 2003 14:13

yes nice, and then you can, in realtime, see you PC burn, when the updates stop coming in :p

piotke 11th February 2003 15:59

terminal services --> take over your PC --> shut down (is that possible troiugh TS ?)

TeuS 11th February 2003 17:02

too bad you can't display the stress percentage of the proc to verify wether it's folding or not ;)

RichBa5tard 11th February 2003 17:25

There's an option to show cpu load, but it doesn't show up on display. :s
