Midrange Vga cards Hey guys, Just wanting to know what Pcie cards you would recomend for a gamer? I have had ATI always and would like to stick to them, but any sugestions are appreciated. I like the sapphire 1950 Pro, I have a budget of $370 (AUD) I have got a e6750 Cpu Thanks |
is the 8800 GTS 320Mb available for <$370 (AUD) ? |
Leadtek PX8800 GTS TDH 320MB Extreme $294.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814122022 (other brands too, but i have a soft spot for Leadtek) |
thans guys, any others, or what brand? What do you think the x1950 pro is any good for the price? |
a 1950pro will run you to about $150. it's an ok price/quality thing, but only if you're using it to wait until real DX10 cards are released. (and by real DX10 i mean cards actually tested in DX10) |
that is kind of my plan at the moment. Do we know when Dx10 game and real hardware will be coming out? I am just wanting to beef up my X1600 because it is dated and has a very low frame rate on every game. So i am definatly considering the x1950 What brand should i go for?? Thanks |
I would go for 320Mb GTS, worth the cost, every penny:) don't expect DX10 only games any time soon |
Crysis in september and Age of Conan in october i guess. but they've got dx9 versions too. |
