A few C's lower .....

Be placing order for a Blackie.;)

Only three places available insofar. Reverse the CV and see what will happen. :o

What I am not sure is if it would fit BTX form factor boards; power supply and board mounting.

reverse CV = take hot air from top of case?

Well, with the two compartments dividing the lower 1/3 where HDDs' and PSU are located; the front intake to the rear PSU exhaust would become really independent "sub-set".

The upper 2/3 becomes totally negative pressure relying on rear exhaust to pull in from the "many holes in front and back of the case". I am "thinking out loud"; the fan duct would 1) diffuses the pulling of air by the exhaust 120mm monster and the down force of the CPU fan; the fan duct will reduce the tuburlance, 2) the end of the duct (now point upward) will force the air stream coming from the holes in front and rear panel.

I am ASSUMPING; the design yields "less" heat on top half of the case as oppose to the current ATX design.

I've been working on BTX Chill Vent III; being revised due to my belief the current "stand up" heatpipe cooler design will aid the effectiveness of CPU cooling.
