hwbot.org - cool new features hwbot.org has come a long since it went online 6 months ago. The current engine is v1.9.4, engine v2.0 should be the final product (or at least have enough features to start pimpin' it :D). Missing features to be completed in 2.0: - prices for hardware, link to shops - news, automatic rss feeder so i don't need to post news myself : ) - scanning, use nickname from post instead of between tags - contests, allow members to create a contest. Eg: first member to get 20000 3dmarks in 3DMark06 gets a price, or first member to reach 8Ghz with a P4 or ... - behind the screen admin stuff needs to be worked out a bit more Any thoughts on what is missing in the hwbot engine now and must be in 2.0 before i start advertising it? |

If you log in, you have to option to create a new team and configure bots yourself. Submitting scores online does not require you to register, but if you don't, you won't be able to alter it later, or have bragging rights. :D Any comments on how i can improve the hwbot? |
a manual:) |
a manual for adding a team / bots? |
a manual for every feature, or an expanded "help" section at the top. it's one the most time consuming aspects of any project, but if you want people to be able to use HWBot correctly, it's vital. |
I'll expand the faq and add a link to the appropriate section of the faq in each section. Writing howto's is indeed very timeconsuming. : / |
wow, this is very useful. |
