How do you spend your money?

How much are you willing to spend by components in your rig?

The $ is just an example; I am more interesting in the percentage relative to total cost of the system.

no one needs a hdd?

:D

I knew I forgot something, but the percentages wouldn't be right anymore.
I bought my disk two years ago for about 150 Euro ;)

My pc, some pieces are a few years old. other are rather new, but I took the price I payed them.

Actually this price is a lot higher then I expected. And I didn't even calculated my printer, screens, scanner etc... with it :D

I don't think I gonna spend that much money on a new pc.

My next upgrade will be graka, PSU, mobo and CPU. So I think €1800 is way to much for spending on that upgrade :^D

The reason HDD is not there is because more than ONE could be added. Second thought I should have it listed.:)

I guess what I am trying to find out if my assumption is correct; people are unwilling to pay for high priced processor;

Unwilling to pay high price for-
1) Processor
2) Power Supply
3) Case
4) Hard drive

More willing to pay high price for-
1) Video card
2) Memory

kr15t0f 10th February 2005 16:36

only thing I'm unwilling to spend too much money on is a graka.

If it's possible I try to keep my ti4200 for another year. But when I gonna do an upgrade I going to change to PCI-e and I need a new graka. Prolly a mid-range card

Never going to spend more then 180€ on a cpu again.
I always take a low budget cpu with good oc capacibility.
The rest of the money goes to a graca, about 250-300€.

One thing I didn't spend money on is a keyboard :D

EDIT : how do you do the percentage in excel ? :D ==> NVM :D
