good belgian shops for cheap PC

Where could I get the following system the cheapest?

Gigabyte K8N PRO SLI

AMD DC 4400+

AC A64 Freezer

2x1 GB brand value ram (Patriot, Geil, Kingston, whatever is cheap)

7800GTX or GT

Tagan 480W U15 (U20 works too) or Hyper Type R

Samsung Spinpoint 160 GB SATA 2 HD

Some good cheap DVD burner

easypanic 14th September 2005 19:32

Tones, Comtechnology , Forcom, ....

Rutar 15th September 2005 10:53

they seem a bit expensive, I put a puter together and it costed more than it did here and we don't have cheap prices

jmke 15th September 2005 11:10

www.tones.be & www.forcom.be have very low prices
www.comtechnology.be & www.loveno.be also

if you want a very good service and a very large parts list: www.mpl.be

Sharpside 15th September 2005 13:33

www.codima.be can be cheap for some parts.

define "here" ....

Rutar 15th September 2005 19:17

Switzerland

I'm looking stuff up for a buddy in Belgium.

Rutar 15th September 2005 19:33

MPL has a great selection indeed, Forcom has much better prices

I wish Forcom would ditch the MSI and Gainward crap in favor of a Gigabyte and Asus only selection and get some decent cases and PSUs, that would be tight.

piotke 15th September 2005 19:43

Why the statement tha tMSI and gaiward are crap ? Both brand have a very respectable reputation...

187(V)URD@ 15th September 2005 19:53

I rather pick a msi board and a gainward(extreme good oc'er in graphics) card over a gigabyte and asus.

Rutar 15th September 2005 22:41

Gainward is horribly overpriced and doesn't offer anything extra

MSI had a lot of problems with their boards and most are hit or miss for overclocking

piotke 15th September 2005 23:11

As far as I know, MSI didn't hae any problems. Be more specific, right now you are just telling roumours...

Gainward offers special series with higher quality parts, such as faster rated ram etc. these ârts are more expensive, but I don't have teh impression they're OVERpriced..

Rutar 15th September 2005 23:55

I may point to the MSI forums where I went when I tried getting my K8N Neo Plat over 225 FSB.

piotke 16th September 2005 00:13

Please direct me to e specific thread. 5 bad board don't make a brand crap as you say.

And overclockong is never guaranteed. Did the board work perfect on defauld speeds ? Yess, then you have MSI nothing to blame...

Rutar 16th September 2005 00:15

if overclockign didn't matter, DFI wouldn't be known to any of us

piotke 16th September 2005 00:20

DFI guerantees overclocking, that's a difference.

You can't blame fiat, because none of their cars will go over 300kmph, but you can blame Ferrari for that, as that is their job...

Rutar 16th September 2005 00:29

LMAO

Fiat and MSI, that fits

jmke 16th September 2005 07:42

you can't go complaining to the motherboard maker that your board does not overclock, that is a FACT :)

I've seen enough MSI K8N boards which go all the way to 300HTT to know that you most likely got stuck with a more restrictive sample

Rutar 16th September 2005 09:43

on other forums the phenomenon is well known

What do you find in a prison besides most of them are prisoners?
Average height of U.S. Basket Ball team player is 6' 6", does it make a six feet tall person "short" by any standard?

Your blinded judgment will only make you miss all the good things in life.

By the way, never look for cheap stuffs; try reasonably priced products with high quality and performance. Cheap is cheap can be.

jmke 16th September 2005 14:16

can you point out those forums?

one of the most popular OC forums @ XtremeSystems has many MSI users which are running very high HTT

Rutar 16th September 2005 14:16

MSI forums, futuremark forums

Sidney 16th September 2005 14:45

If you look into Abit Forum; they all said Abit sucks.

I rest my case with the above comment.

Rutar 16th September 2005 16:36

Abit does have some problems, like some of their boards are allergic to some ballistix ram and some of their 754 had flimsy PCB which bent and caused problems

They are only a shadow of what they were with their NF2 boards. They try to pick up again but they aren't there yet.
