GF 7950GX2, your new graphics card ?

With the first (limited) benchmarks in mind, are you interested in buying the nVidia Geforce 7950GX2 ? Or stick with the 7900GTX (SLI) ?
Bad value for money or decent performance gain/price ?
Just curious ;)

let's see some real benchmarks first, 3DMark is all good and well but doesn't reflect gameplay too much, and his FarCry tests are CPU limited and he's not running high detail levels or resolutions or using HDR

3700+ 1024/786: 82.45fps
FX-60 1280/1024: 82.35fps

jah; so until we see performance numbers and useful wattage numbers I'll just wait and see:)

for €100 more than 7900GTX you get performance close to 2*7900GTX ...

Nope, it's not :D

As you can see in my sig, i have the 7950 on an asus a8n-e mobo, and it works real great, although my cpu is holding the system back a bit since i need to learn how to overclock it first:^D

Anyways, here's my current 3dmark result:

it was when they first announced it :) we are 22 days later now and BIOS update seems to be enough for some boards
