| Seems not a convincing price for the average joe. this chip should be cheaper because it's slower. But it's priced the same as the E6300.... In be: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/14904...)-prijzen.html vs http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/13960...)-prijzen.html

| price max should be €130 for this chip to be interesting, €2 difference with E6300 makes no sense

| It's NewEgg, they do this with all recently launched hardware they expect to be somewhat hot. Listing the QX6700 for $1,600 out of the gates when they had plenty of stock was a good indicator of this. |

| no, it's not just newegg, same high pricing can be seen in other shops, States side or here in Europe http://www.alternate.de/html/product...l?artno=HPFI47

| Why? Because of them OC'ers , the less than 1% of PC users (amounts to thousands) giving the merchants a chance to make a few more $.

| I really don't think this pricing schedule is "because of the OCers", Intel will drop price of E4300 to ~$130 in Q2-Q3, this is Intel pricing, not the shops
