DFI NF4 SLI-DR refuses keyboard Anyone came across this one? My DFI had some trouble booting, typical for this motherboard some times. But, I have other problems, the ps/2 connectors aren't any more recognised. The keyboard and mouse don't get any power. If inserted in USB the led from my mouse gives light, but 2 (different) keyboards don't react. I cannot use USB keyboard apparently in BIOS, let alone I can reach BIOS. Anyone had some of this before on a mainboard? Or should I just RMA this board?? Great, two high end systems and they all refuse to boot :puke: |
Using two DFI nF4 boards, no such problem. Make sure your mouse and keyboard are functional, try borrrowing one from known working condition before RMA. |
This is getting retarded. Behind the two ps/2 connectors there is a little jumper, if you unplug it, then there's no energy for the keyboard and mouse :D. I don't have a clue how the jumper got off the pins :/. |
why is there a jumper for that in the first place? |
Good question :). |
 |
