hmm, I was meaning if you haven't enabled that option, the display of your tft isn't @ his/her sharpiest :D setting. So it will even get better/sharper if it's enabled. Like you said before conclusion crt sucks in sharpness:hello: |
I'm using the CRT & LCD in a dual monitor setup, the LCD is my secondy screen |
I prefer the smooth CRT look more than the sharp LCD look. :) |
how old is the CRT? my 17" digiview is going on about 4 years now and its still extremely sharp at 1024x768 85hz and might it also be possible that the camera's pic got messed up because of the CRT's faster refresh rate? |
the digicam has an excellent macro function, if you are looking for a digicam to do reviews with.. Canon Powershot A300, should be around $200 I think. anywayz, the macro mode basically reveals the difference of techniques used by CRT and LCD, the real difference is noticable, but not as extreme as showed by the zoomed in pics/ CRT http://computer.howstuffworks.com/monitor.htm LCD: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/lcd.htm |
