Default Crossfire question: 4x, 8x?

I was wondering if someone knows of a review where the crossfire capabilities of a 965 board and 975 are tested? I know that dual 8x on the 975 has a near insignificant effect on performance (as opposed to 16x) but I don't know about the 16x4 setup on say a P5B deluxe. Especially considering the upcoming R600, I think the 4x would definitely be a bottleneck.
