C&C3 Demo |
any good, anybody tried? anybody played Supreme Commander AND this demo?:) |
demo isn't working, I get Start of Procedure "GetVolumePathNamesNameW" hasn't been found in Kernel32.dll. |
i'll play them both when I'm in pension! |
Tried C&C3 today. Like what I saw before in screenshots, not really the game I'm searching for. I can't help it, but the previous generation where everything was still in 2 dimensions charms me more then this. C&C3 looks like generals in a new dress. With the 1600*1200 resolution I also excepted a great overview on the battlegroud, though the maximum distance is not far enough. The intro/sinle player looks great though, makes me remind Red Alert 2 :) When you start skirmish and don't alter the skill level, you're pretty much garantied that you will win your match. I was screwing around a bit, until I saw I hadn't mutch time left. 3 mamouth tanks was enough to destroy a whole base :prod: Supreme commander has more overview, though I've loaded the beta only once :s |

I got it running under WIn2K with the help of a someone on the FM forums. Is it true that, Higher resolution = battlefield on screen is bigger? Is there a benchmark that could help testing the effect of higher resolution? Is there a way to reduce the speed in SP or MP? The Campaign makes me feel like back in the day when I started with playing Red Alert 1 (and that is a really good feeling). |
