| i've broken a key from my Acer notebook. the shop where I bought it usually does great service, but they say they can't order a single key, or the entire keyboard. congrats on the great deal btw. a friend of me bought a while back a compaq notebook with a ~1Ghz CPU, DVD player and 192MB RAM. the battery only lasted max. 10 mins and windows is totally unstable. in the end WinXP even didn't want to install anymore. I put linux on it, with a lightweight windowmanager. speedier, 100% stable and the battery lasts 30 minute now. he paid 25€ for it |
