Yes, way to many issues with the original XP disc. SP1 or SP2 is required during installs now, if just because the original XP had a 132GB drive limit and other issues... |
Make a slipstream cd with service pack 2 or 3 included. Nlite is the program to use: nLite I had a similar problem with an Asus K8V-XE mobo. Worked fine with Ubuntu but bluescreens with the Windows XP cd. A slipstreamed version with SP 2 worked like a charm. |
