What's a good price for 2 x 512 Mb Mushkin Level One PC-3500? This memory has original Winbond CH-5 chips (not UTT). Although not completely stable, I'm able to run this memory at 260 MHz 2-2-2-5-1 in combination with a DFI nF4 Ultra-D. Stable enough to do some benchmarks. Although I'm very satisfied of this memory, I would like to sell it. Reason: upgrade! Any idea what's a fair price for these modules?

| What is the highest stable timings? What is the voltage? If you list the above there may be more interest

According to Mushkin, the official timings of this memory is 2-3-2-6 @ 217 MHz. I'm able to run these modules at 2-2-2-5-1T @ 245 MHz in combination with my DFI nF4 Ultra D. A voltage of 3,2V is needed for this. The memory modules aren't overclocked 24/7 and are always cooled by an extra fan. Strange enough, I can't get past 250 MHz. I tried different biosses and other timings but I didn't succeed. And to be honest, I didn't try much because I was satisfied with 245 MHz I also tried the 4V jumper of de DFI nF4 once to get some better results at 3,4V. But because the motherboard was getting very hot, I needed to install a very loud fan to cool the power circuit of the memory. And I don't like very loud fans so I didn't try very hard to get the memory higher Maybe I'll try again within a few weeks to get better PiFast and SuperPi results.

I tried again at 3,4V but it's difficult to get it stable above 250 MHz (with very good cooling of course!). At 260 MHz I'm getting errors in Memtest86+ so that means it's not stable. Maybe stable enough to do some PiFast or SuperPi benchmarks but I doubt it. Maybe I need to play more with the other timings because it didn't matter if I tried 2-2-2-5, 2.5-3-3-6 or 3-4-4-7, the results were the same. Strange, maybe I'm doing something wrong? But that's not a discussion for this part of the forum. About the price then... Anyone? Maybe I'll sell my PC (DFI nF4, 6600GT, Tagan TG530U-22, ...) to fund a project. But I'm still unsure of this. Need to do some research

Try 2-3-2-5 and why only 3,4 volt? I don't know the pirce but I guess +125 euro? But 245MHz 2-2-2-5 is 100% stable?, I am intressed.

I didn't try 2-3-2-5. But I'm pretty sure it won't work. I've seen benchmarks of people who reached 265 MHz 2-2-2-5 with CH-5 at 3,6V. Maybe I should give it a try... But I'm afraid I'll kill these sweet sticks. I took a look at the datasheets and I know the chips can handle 3,6V with very good cooling. The biggest problem is the PCB because it isn't designed to work at those voltages. And yes, 245 MHz is completely stable for me. I've played games without problems. Of course, I can't garantuee it will work for you because 245MHz is the absolute max. I'm still don't know if I'm going to sell these modules. I saw an offer for very cheap 1gb modules but know the offer has ended. But I if I do sell them, I'll let you know!
