they 're rated at cas3 yes, my 2*256 apacers do 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.85V (haven't been testing these a lot either :p) but I don't think those 2*512 sticks can do those timings.
I haven't really tested cuz the games wouldn't work ;) so they *might* do cas 2.5

One of the labels on one of the sticks is ripped, i don't know whether it matters for warranty (the label does not say "warranty void if cut"). I wanted to check whether there really were BH-5 chips under the heatspreader. :D
