Default new setup for cR00ziE

Hello all!

since my mobo broke down on me, I will need a new setup. I'm planning of buying a Socket 939 setup with:
- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Venice)
- Geforce 7800GT 256mb
- ram from the previous setup (2*256mb winbond BH5)
- a mobo, which I haven't decided yet
the choices are between a DFI lanparty NF4 Ultra-D (which you can mod to an SLI I heard), an Epox 9NPA+ (ultra) (or perhaps something of Asus or Abit?).

The pc will be a gaming/oc'ing pc.

will the graphics card suffice for this purpose?

I'm willing to spend around 150€ for the mobo, 200€ for a CPU and 200€ for a graka.

Thanks!!

You won't find a 7800GT (which isn't sold anymore, i think you mean 7900GT) for 200 euro, it starts from 300 euro.

The 7600GT is a very good card and fits your budget. Plays nearly every game on high settings.

2*256mb ram is not enough these days, get 2*512mb, it will only set you back 80 euro's and you need it way more than an expensive motherboard.

Since you are on a tight budget, i'd get a cheapo single SLI motherboard.

yeah, I will probebly wait untill conroe etc. will be available here. That should lower the price of the products I'm looking for. (how long until conroe is released? 1.5 - 2 months?)
