FX5900 @ 242 euro

A nice tip for people who want to stick to nvidia: a lleadtek FX5900 128mb is being sold and on stock at cyberport.de for only 242 euro! Nice toy! :o

http://www.cyberport.de
search for "Leadtek A350 TDH LX FX5900 128MB DVI/TV - Retail"

Shipping C.O.D. (rembours) to belgium is 17 euro extra.

jmke 29th November 2003 11:48

That's a good budgetcard!

BlackRabbit 29th November 2003 12:20

Isn't a 5900 normally the top-notch card? (with 256MB)

How come it's so cheap??

RichBa5tard 29th November 2003 12:23

It's a good card, but if it isn't priced below a R9800 non pro it isn't the best bang for the buck.

A FX5950U 256mb is Nvidia's flagship, not the non ultra 5900.

Tarantula 30th November 2003 13:16

5900 non ultra is a bit sucky for future games like HL², seen how it scores in benches..

hmm bump,

Leadtek A350 TDH LX

this is the XT version I found out to be... LX stands in it's name for the XT. But the leadteks clock like hell...

stock 400/700, someone on telenet forum has one, goes op to 500/830, whitout artifacs, and still not at the end of his card :)

BlackRabbit 2nd January 2004 19:07

price?

Ow I'm sorry, I thought you had another, better card (didn't read first post)

Nice indeed..

RichBa5tard 3rd January 2004 01:19

wow, seems like the TX ( /LX) has been on the market for a while. :)

-edit-
Core/Memorytakt 400/850 MHz
<>
TX is 300/700, while 400/850 is fx5900... are you sure LX = TX?

FreeStyler 3rd January 2004 16:17

The nVidia XT cards are the SLOWER versions. Unlike the ATI XT versions wich are the faster ones.

on cyberport.de there are 3 leadteks but i find it all very confusing with the TX / LX names, so which of the following is the best ?

- Leadtek A350 TDH MyVIVO FX5900 128MB - Retail
- Leadtek A350 TDH LX FX5900 128MB VIVO - Retail
- Leadtek A350XT TDH FX5900XT 128MB DVI/TV - Retail

FreeStyler 25th January 2004 13:28

the first 2 models are with video input
probably not what you need.
