Asus Crosshair IV Extreme, the ultimate AM3 board, 250€
Had fun with it, but after switching to Sandy it's a bit expensive to keep around. Most of the accessories are still wrapped. Board is still under warranty (bought it at Alternate on 13/12/2010 after my previous one died - so this one is brand new, not an RMA board (just to be clear)).
Trading with a 890GX board + cash is an option.

I am tempted by the X4 965BE/Asus CHIV Extreme combo, but the fact that the CPU doesn't have HT (and that I've got both an i5 750 and i7 860) is holding me back...

In fact, I'm more in need of a decent LGA1156, crossfire able mainboard... you wouldn't happen to have one lying about, would you?

The board itself is very good, lot's of fun features. But your i7 would be faster than the 965BE. You'd have more fun combining the CHIV with an X6.

Have an Asus Maximus III Gene mobo myself... added 2 Sapphire 6950's (flashed to 6970) but the cards are sitting on top of each other (3mm space) which makes the top one more like an electric cooking plate than a GPU...

Going for an X6 would mean at least a 1090T. In combination with your CHIV Extreme, that would set me back €450... For approximately that price (€500) I have a Sandy Bridge 2500K and the Asus Maximus IV Extreme...

I think I'll wait a bit longer to see if P1tit still has his Gigabyte UD6 board...

Bought an AsRock P55 Extreme 4 mainboard at Alternate
Missed a 500 bus and had the board €5 cheaper because Alternate adapted the price in the meantime :D ... Gonna install it asap...
