Default Win2003 v.s XP

who better ? Windows Server 2003 v.s Windows XP ( both full tweaked ) for benchmark and gaming ? I'm not sure about the best OS for gaming & benchmarking

Gaming results in win2003 are a bit less. I've tweaked win2K3 using that online guide (how to use win2K3 as a workstation), but the results were a bit disappointing when comparing to a winXP, or that's what I've found.

Issues with drivers may have been resolved recently, but e.g. : ati drivers wouldn't even install with the setup, you had to install them manually.

Stick with XP, it's a workstation OS after all, Win2003 was not designed to run games and has other priorities set afaik

ok...XP, and how about SP2 ? need to install that ? or better without SP2 ?

there is only a very small performance inpact in some games from going to SP2; however the amount of bugfixes included make up for it
