userfriendly videoconvert tool ?
 

i'm looking for a ( freeware / shareware ) software tool that can convert a lot of different types of video files.

ex: input *.mov/mpg/avi/wmv etc to
output avi with a lot of encoding options

but it must be easy to use ...

Dokter divx: not freeware, very easy
Virtual dub: freeware, not easy (as in: do some decent reading for an hour or two)

Have tried a lot of progs, i liked dokter divx most because of the simplicity.

Forgot: doesn't Windows XP movie maker convert stuff ?
