scratched my 21" CRT...

When i took my 21" CRT on a trip yesterday, it accidentally tipped over on it's glass front when the bus stopped suddenly (transporting 35kg CRT's with public transport is my idea of fun).

Now i've got pretty deep scratches in the front. Is there anyway i can make them less visible? I tried toothpase (i've read at shrimp it should help on a TFT screen), but it didn't do much. Anything else i can try to remoe scratches from glass?

go to a specialized shop, there exist products for such things
but remember some CRT's have an additional protective coat on the glass, make sure the product won't damage it

if u use products to polisch te surface (and remove scratches), the glass will get, euh, "mat". :)

Oh well, it's an old CRT. It's not a disaster.

my thougths exactly. I'm going to leave it this way. No point in spending €25 on an expensive polish product to make it worse. :)
