Radiator Mounting New case Hi, Ive got one simple question, does anyone know of a simple strong method to mount a Black Ice micro Radioator (I think thats what its called it uses 2 80mms). Well I'm switching to a new case that will allow me to have mroe space for HDs and such and it uses those damned brackets for mounting fans instead of screws. This is the case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811144057 Any ideas for a strong, stable way to mount this radiator(http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=72&page=1)? Preferrably I would like to do this with out having to break out my drill and jigsaw |
if you don't mind to route your water-cooling tubes through one of the PCI slots towards the back of the case I'd say that you could strongly mount it at the back, by making a metal bracket which uses maybe the mounting holes of the PSU to hold the radiator. + no cutting of the case required + you can re-use that construction on any other case + lower temperatures (rad = outside the case) - making the metal bracket might be tricky |
Problem is its 1/2 tubing I don't think I can fit that through 1 PCI slot. Maybe if I dremel 2 PCI slots into 1 big one would be ugly but it would work. |
